APUSH Week 4 Jan. 26-30

This week we are finishing our discussion on domestic terrorism by asking the following:  "Do domestic terrorists pose a threat to the USA? If so, to what lengths should the government go to protect us?  If not, what do you think is the greater threat to US security, and what should be done about it?"

WHAP Week 2

This week you will be looking at the recent events in parts of North Africa and the Middle East that pertain to the overthrown of governmental influences in this region. This area is called the Arab Spring for reasons the will make sense after reading the article itself so don't let the title lead you astray. This article relates to both Chapter 14 and 15 as the overthrow of government certainly could affect an "empire" or the global commerce of a country. Without effective leadrship can your country truly be stable? Read and respond to this article and don't forget to comment on someone elses post as well. The link is under WHAP Pages and is titles "ARAB SPRING".

APUSH Week 2 Article

This week your article is about Dzhokhar Tsarnaev who stands as the only accomplace of the Boston Marathon Bombing that remains alive and recently went on trial for his actions. This ties to the topic of Domestic terrorism that we will be discussing in class throughout our lectures on the Gilded Age. Respond and Comment on this Rolling Stone article named "Jahar's World" printed July, 17th 2013. The link to the atricle itself is under the APUSH pages titled Jahar's World.
